MATTHEW: A man in it’s most obvious form is a human who embodies whatever the culture they are in says a man is, which usually but not always has a biological component. In fact these requirements rarely have much more than a biological component. WHAT man ‘ought’ to be seems like a much harder question to answer and begs the question: without the evolutionary pressures that originally found utility in men and women being physiologically different, what is the point of even having two strongly defined genders?
